Rule 190
Actions will be taken if the payment is not made
If the officer or employee of the local body receiving the payment or any other person does not pay the payment within the period specified in this regulation, interest shall be charged on the entire payment amount at the rate of 10% per annum from the date of overdue payment. In case of default or failure to pay the invoice within the time limit, the employee may be stopped in his salary, and if he fails to do so, promotion may be stopped. In the case of officials other than employees, a public notice will also be issued and the benefits they will get will be suspended and such advance amount will be collected along with interest like the government balance.
